Eating Disorders & Body Image Counseling in Georgia

Struggling with your relationship with food or your body can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. In a culture that glorifies dieting, thinness, and food rules, it’s easy to internalize harmful beliefs about what your body "should" look like or how you "should" eat. If you find yourself preoccupied with food, feeling out of control, or constantly battling shame about your body, know that you are not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this alone.

As someone who has personally done the work to heal my own relationship with food and my body, I understand how challenging and nuanced this journey can be. Eating disorders and body image concerns are about so much more than food—they are often ways of coping with deeper emotional struggles, anxiety, trauma, or feelings of unworthiness. Therapy provides a space to unpack those layers, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and find freedom from the cycle of shame and self-criticism.

Our work together may include:

  • Healing your relationship with food and your body

  • Challenging diet culture, disordered eating patterns, and food rules

  • Exploring the emotional roots of eating behaviors

  • Building distress tolerance and learning to sit with emotions rather than avoiding them

  • Addressing body image struggles with self-compassion and curiosity

  • Processing past trauma or experiences that have shaped your body image

  • Setting boundaries in diet-culture environments and learning to filter out harmful messaging

  • Reconnecting with your values and identity beyond food and appearance

You are so much more than your body or what you eat. Full recovery is possible, and you deserve to live a life where food is just food, and your worth isn’t tied to your body size. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to support you in finding peace, self-acceptance, and the freedom to live fully.
