FAQ

Are you accepting new clients?

I am currently accepting new clients located in Georgia! I offer sessions at Inner Compass Counseling in Marietta, available both in person (limited availability) and virtually. Sessions priced at $150.

How does online therapy work?

Teletherapy—also known as online or virtual therapy—can be just as effective as in-person sessions and, in some cases, an even better fit. While the structure remains similar to in-office therapy, the flexibility and convenience of online sessions make it a more accessible option for many. I provide virtual therapy to clients across the state of Georgia.

What will our sessions look like?

In our first session, we’ll explore your reasons for seeking therapy, discuss your goals, and address any topics you’d like to bring up. I take a collaborative approach, but you are always in control of each session. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship takes time, and as we work together, you’ll gain new insights, develop skills, and track your progress. Some sessions may be more structured, while others will provide space for you to process life as it unfolds. I welcome your feedback and encourage open communication to ensure therapy aligns with your needs.

Do you accept insurance?

We are considered “out-of-network” providers so we do not take insurance. We do provide superbills upon request which some people used to be reimbursed by their insurance if it is covered under their plan

How long is each therapy session?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes. The frequency and length of therapy may vary based on your needs and goals, but I will work with you to create a schedule that works for you.

How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by emailing morgansanford@innercompasscounseling.net or on the Inner Compass website. Once we confirm a time, I’ll send you an intake form to gather some initial information and help prepare for our first session.

How many therapy sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed depends on your goals, the challenges you’re facing, and your progress in therapy. Some clients may benefit from a few sessions, while others may choose longer-term therapy for deeper healing. We will regularly assess your progress and adjust the frequency and goals of therapy as needed.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy is a helpful tool for anyone looking to improve their emotional well-being, address life challenges, or heal from past wounds. If you’re feeling unsure, I encourage you to reach out for a consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if therapy is the right step.

What should I do if I’m in crisis or need immediate help?
If you’re in immediate danger or having a crisis, please contact 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For non-emergency situations, I can help connect you with resources or a crisis hotline in your area.
